1. The service

JAXPOT (https://jaxpot.anirban.ca) is a free website for playing card games in your browser, alone, with friends on one device, or online. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for everything done under your account.
  • Usernames are unique and shown publicly. Pick something you are happy for other players to see.
  • You must provide a valid email address to register. One person, one account; please do not create accounts to manipulate the leaderboard.

3. Fair play and conduct

When playing with others, you agree not to:

  • use offensive, hateful, or impersonating usernames or table names;
  • cheat, exploit bugs, automate play, or otherwise manipulate games or leaderboard standings;
  • disrupt other players' games, spam tables, or abuse the service's infrastructure;
  • attempt to access other users' accounts or data.

We may rename, suspend, or delete accounts and remove match records that break these rules, at our discretion.

4. Your content

The only content you contribute is names (usernames, guest names) and gameplay. You grant us the right to display these to other players and in histories and leaderboards as part of running the service.

5. Availability

This is a free hobby project provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Games may be interrupted, stats may occasionally be lost, and features may change or disappear without notice. We may suspend or shut down the service at any time.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JAXPOT and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.

7. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
